Mask Update from Superintendent – 1/14/2022

Dear Hooksett Families,

This past week, the 7-day PCR/antigen positivity rate in Hooksett has averaged 27.2% which is above the 10% threshold considered substantial transmission by the NH Department of Health and Human Services. The number of active cases have increased from 222 to 286 cases and the number of cases over the previous 14 days have increased from 348 to 403 cases. As a result, we will continue with the mask requirement for the week of Tuesday, January 18th through Friday, January 21st. I will continue to monitor these data points and will provide another update at the end of next week.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Sincerely,

William Rearick
Superintendent of Schools
