    At the March 19 Hooksett School Board meeting, the Hooksett School Board voted and unanimously approved that the last day of school for students in kindergarten through 7th grade will be an early release day on Friday, June 14, 2019. The last day for 8th grade students will be a full day of school on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Recognition Evening for 8th graders will also be Thursday, June 13, 2019 beginning at 6:00 pm.

    Today an email was sent with the date for the Eighth Grade Recognition Evening of June 14, 2019. Eighth Grade Recognition at Cawley has always been the night before the last day of school.  This is how this year's date was determined.  It is very difficult to plan and coordinate events with multiple school districts that Hooksett's high school students attend.   • Vaping Informational Night for Parents and Students

    Presented by Breathe New Hampshire, Vaping Unveiled™ is a program created to educate youth, parents, schools and the community about the dangers of youth nicotine addiction through vaping e-cigarettes, “Juuls,” and other devices. The Candia Moore School will be hosting this presentation for all SAU 15 communities on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 6:30pm in the gymnasium.   • Second Payment for D.C. Trip due March 15

    Date: February 19, 2019

    Just a reminder that the second payment of $125 for the 2019 DC trip is due to Bennett Student Travel on or before March 15.  If you are still looking to register your child, you may do so by completing a registration form and send the payment directly to Bennett Student Travel. Registration packets are available in the office, on the Cawley website or you may contact Mrs. Adams to have one sent home with your child.     A recent social media challenge directed at children and young adults, called the “Momo Challenge”, is creating concern throughout the country. The purpose of this letter is to make you aware of this challenge and urge you to monitor your children’s use of social media and games. The “Momo Challenge” can be found on Facebook and/or through the “WhatsApp” (a free smartphone messaging application) and is disturbing in nature.     All students, families and community members are invited to CMS on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 (rain date April 11). There will be a thirty minute presentation in the media center at 7:00 pm followed by an outside viewing of the stars. Telescopes will be set up until 9:30 pm.
