Cawley Welcomes Karin Rogers as New Assistant Principal

Dear Parents,

I am enthusiastically writing this letter to introduce Karin Rogers as the new Assistant Principal at Cawley Middle School.

Mrs. Rogers has proudly served as a middle school educator and leader for the past 24 years.  She began her career in special education as case coordinator in grade eight and served for many years as a Special Olympics coach and job coach during extended school year programming.  Karin also has extensive experience in the classroom, teaching English and Language Arts, Social Studies and Science.  She has been an integral member of various team structures, including as a member of a 7/8 looping team and co-teaching model.  As a teacher Karin assumed many additional professional responsibilities including being a member of the data team and a teacher mentor.

As an educational leader, Karin served as the middle school Language Arts Department Chair.  While in this role, she supported professional learning communities, analyzed state and local data, organized the summer reading program, and provided ongoing professional development.  Karin most recently has served as the sixth grade team leader where she supported both staff and students in meeting the school goals and contributing positively to the school culture.

Mrs. Rogers believes that all students achieve to their fullest potential and that their social, emotional, and intellectual needs are at the heart of every school community.  She is deeply passionate about affecting positive change within the middle school learning environment.  Karin is excited to meet the students, parents and staff and committed to becoming an active member of the Hooksett School Community.

Sincerely,

Matthew Benson
Principal
