Dear Parents,

The first day of school was full of excitement and smiles. The entire Cawley staff did an outstanding job working with students to ensure that the health and safety protocols and procedures were followed.

One area for improvement that I am working on is afternoon dismissal. The first day of afternoon dismissal was much longer than we anticipated, and as a result, we are making an adjustment to the process effective today. Students will be dismissed by individual teams for both parent pick up and buses at the same time. Students will still be socially distanced with required cloth face coverings/masks and using their team stairwells.

Please remember to complete the PickUp Patrol health screener each day before 7:00 am. Parents need to answer the COVID-19 screening questions and take their child’s temperature before the child gets on the school bus or arrives at school via parent drop off. If your child is sick or has any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please keep the student at home.
