Dear Parents,

As a result of the National 4-H Conference Center being closed until January 2021 and ongoing requirements for social distancing and recommendations from the CDC, a decision has been made to postpone the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. from October 2020 to April 2021. The new trip dates will be April 20 – 23, 2021 (Tuesday – Friday). This trip is an important part of being an 8th grader at Cawley Middle School and postponing the trip for six months is a viable and sensible option for the health and safety of the students and staff.

Bennett Student Travel was able to re-contract everything with the National 4-H Conference Center and Premier Coach Bus Company so that this change will not incur any penalties. The trip price will remain the same. All payments that have been made to this point are secure and have been applied to the cost of your student’s trip.

If anyone is behind on their payments, Bennett Student Travel will be in communication with you in September so that everything can be up-to-date by September 30. Bennett Student Travel asks that you do not pay the final payment in September. This payment has been rescheduled with a new due-date of February 15, 2021.

Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding the postponement of the trip. It is our hope that all of the students who planned to travel with us in October will still be able to join us in Washington D.C. in April.
