8th Grade Trip – Washington D.C.

There will be an informational meeting for current 8th grade parents and students on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Cawley Media Center regarding your student’s trip to Washington D.C. in 8th grade. This year’s trip has been scheduled from Tuesday, April 22 to Friday, April 25, 2025.

At the meeting the Cawley Administration, Washington D.C. Coordinator Lori Adams, and owner of Bennett Student Travel, Doug Bennett will provide a detailed overview of the trip and answer any questions.

Mr. Bennett will provide an updated estimated cost of the trip during the presentation. In addition, Mrs. Adams will be providing information regarding a fundraiser through Double Good Popcorn that will take place the week of September 23 – 27. Students will receive 50% of their profits from all popcorn they sell. The money will help to decrease the cost of their DC trip.
