Recognition Evening is scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 2019. Recognition Evening is a two-part event for students. The first part is a ceremony of achievement, which begins promptly at 6:00 pm and concludes approximately one hour later. Students should be at school no later than 5:45pm. Following the ceremony, students attend the second phase of the evening, which is a student dance and buffet. The dance and activities conclude at 9:30 pm. Students are to be picked up at 9:30 pm.

During the Recognition Ceremony, the students will be seated on stage as a class. In addition to presentations and awards, each student will receive a certificate.  At the conclusion of the ceremony, and weather permitting, students will proceed outside to converse and take pictures with family and friends.

A buffet (chicken tenders, salads, lemonade and ice tea) for students will be served during the dance at approximately 7:30 pm. Please note that this dance is not a formal. Gowns and tuxedos are not appropriate for this occasion. Collared shirts, khaki pants, and shoes are appropriate for boys. Casual dresses, blouses and slacks, and shoes are appropriate for girls. School dress code is in effect. As always, we discourage limousine transportation. Let’s give our students something to look forward to when they are in high school!

Should you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
