Today an email was sent with the date for the Eighth Grade Recognition Evening of June 14, 2019. Eighth Grade Recognition at Cawley has always been the night before the last day of school.  This is how this year’s date was determined.  It is very difficult to plan and coordinate events with multiple school districts that Hooksett’s high school students attend.

This year Londonderry High School has graduation on June 14, 2019.  As a result of this conflict with Eighth Grade Recognition Evening at Cawley Middle School, several families in Hooksett would have to choose to either attend Eighth Grade Recognition at Cawley or high school graduation at Londonderry High School.

As a result of this conflict and flexibility in dates that we have this year, Eighth Grade Recognition will now be on June 13, 2019.  June 13, 2019 will also be the last day of school for eighth grade students.
