Eighth Grade Parents,

This year the 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony and dinner and dance will be at Cawley Middle School on Wednesday, June 17. The ceremony will begin in the gymnasium at 6:00 pm and conclude at 7:00 pm. There will be a dinner and dance for the Cawley Class of 2026 after the ceremony from 7:15 pm – 8:45 pm. June 17 will be the last day of school for 8th grade students. 

During the Recognition Ceremony, the students will be seated on stage as a class. In addition to presentations and awards, each student will receive a certificate. At the conclusion of the ceremony, and weather permitting, students will proceed outside to converse and take pictures with family and friends.

Please note that this dance is not a formal. Gowns and tuxedos are not appropriate for this occasion. Students should plan on wearing something light and summery. As always, we discourage limousine transportation, as this is not a high school prom.
