Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well and that you and your family are enjoying a safe and restful summer.
I am writing to inform you that, beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, there will be an increase in the cost of school breakfast and lunch across the district. These adjustments are necessary to keep pace with rising food and labor costs and to ensure we continue to provide high-quality, nutritious meals to all students.
The price for both breakfast and lunch will increase by $1. Breakfast will now cost $2.50 at each of our three schools. Lunch will cost $3.90 at Underhill School and Memorial School, and $4.00 at Cawley Middle School.
These price increases will go into effect on September 2, 2025, the first day of school.
Sincerely,
William J. Rearick
Superintendent of Schools
