COVID-19 Guidance Update – January 10, 2022

Dear Hooksett Families,

Last week, the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NH DHHS) released updated guidelines for isolation and quarantine related to COVID-19 based on guidance from the CDC. Effective today, 1/10/22, the Hooksett School District 2021-2022 Reopening Plan will be updated to include this guidance that addresses how to safely shorten isolation and quarantine from 10 days to 5 days.

The updated DHHS Isolation & Quarantine Recommendations for the General Public can be found here: https://www.covid19.nh.gov/sites/g/files/ehbemt481/files/inline-documents/sonh/isolation-and-quarantine-recommendations_0.pdf

The Hooksett schools are reviewing individual student timelines for isolation and quarantine. You will be contacted by the school administration or school nurse if your child’s isolation or quarantine timeline has changed.
