I am honored to be the new volunteer coordinator at Cawley Middle School. This is our fourth year as residents in Hooksett and our third year in the Hooksett School District. Our son, Nicholas, will be entering the 7th grade at Cawley Middle School this year. After moving to Hooksett a few years ago, we were unsure of how well Nick would transition into his new school which was Memorial at the time. We have been impressed to see how much the staff at our schools are invested in our children’s success academically, emotionally, and socially. Seeing how much the teachers and administration accommodate us, it reinforces how much they need from parents in return.
I decided to be more involved after hearing about and witnessing the lack of volunteers for dances, 6th grade carnival, etc. We all are busy with our kiddos but, they enjoy these school events and it would be a shame for them to lose these memorable moments. There are many events this year that require parent volunteers so, we need your help!
In effort to make volunteer sign-up easier, I have created an online account which lists all events that require our assistance this year. Please visit: https://goo.gl/r9U6K8 and https://goo.gl/nEBTXh
Looking forward to working with you all!
